According to reports militants appeared in the funerals of Abid Wagay and Shah e Jahan and fired in air. Reports reaching KNO said that thousands of people participated in the funerals. Clashes also erupted in the area between protesting youth and government forces. In the ensuing clashes more than twenty people have received injuries and have been evacuated to medical facility. Protesters resorted to stone pelting and forces retaliated by lobbing tear gas canisters to disperse the mob.
